Step 2 to transforming your home with beautiful plantation shutters involves a deeper discussion about your requirements and what style of shutters would best suit your windows. It’s essential that the design of your shutters match your windows, the size of louvre blade and your room décor. We will run through all of this during the home survey.

We are not salesmen (not even close!) so we won’t be rushing off to another appointment. We take the time to cover all the different options available and give our professional recommendations so that we can select the shutter design that is right for you.

Samples and Photos

We will bring a number of things along to the home survey, including large working samples of our shutters. These can be placed on your windows so you can see how the shutters could look and work in your room from inside and out. You will be able to experience the different shutter’s weights, strengths and designs for yourself. You will also be able to take a look through our portfolio of work for inspiration of how shutters could look in your home.

Getting the Perfect Fit

While we run through the best designs and styles, we will also show you the different ways plantation shutters can be fitted to your windows.

There are as many ways as there are different types of windows, so it’s crucial to get it right! We never use messy filler like other companies do. We have unique, industry-leading methods to perfectly fit the shutter frame within your recess with almost no disruption to your windows. Choose us and we’ll let you in on our secret!

When you're happy with the shutters you’ve selected, we'll measure your windows using a combination of lasers, tape measures, levels and templates.. This can take a little while depending on the number and style of windows you have. But we don't rush it as we want to make sure that it’s done right first time.

We always take a selection of photos of each window so all the details can be double checked before they're ordered, by the person who measured.
